This notice explains what information we collect when you use this website or visit the clinic, why we hold it, and how to ask us about it. It is written to be read once, not often.
Who we are
Dr Nanda’s Dental Clinic, an independent dental practice operating from Mohali, Punjab. References below to “we” and “the clinic” mean the practice; the data controller is the practice itself.
What we collect
From the website. Basic request data your browser sends to any website (IP address, browser type, referring page) and the aggregate page-view counts our hosting provider records. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not place marketing cookies. We use Vercel’s built-in analytics, which is privacy-preserving and stores no personal identifiers.
From the booking flow. If you book through Calendly, that service collects the contact details you provide directly. Their privacy notice governs that step. We receive the booking confirmation and the contact details you chose to share.
From clinical care. If you become a patient, we hold the clinical records the law and ordinary dental practice require us to keep. Those records sit in the clinic’s practice system and on paper where the practice still uses paper.
How we use it
Website data tells us, in aggregate, which pages are read. Booking data is used to confirm and prepare for appointments. Clinical records are used to provide care and to satisfy the record-keeping obligations of the profession.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for marketing purposes. We share it onward only when treatment requires it (for example, a referral letter to a specialist you have agreed to see) or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Website request logs are kept by our hosting provider for short periods on their default retention. Clinical records are retained for the periods required under Indian dental practice norms; you can ask us in writing what those periods are for your records.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it where it is wrong, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it. Write to us at the email address shown on the contact page; allow up to four weeks for a considered reply.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when the practice changes anything material about how it handles information. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
How to reach us
Use the address and phone number on the contact page, or write to us at the clinic email address shown there. For matters that need to be in writing, post or email is the right channel.
